The Musician
My first band: Boulevard
Although I like music and guitar, I've been on a band only once, in 1997. We were making soft rock, nothing very special but we enjoyed a lot. In 1998 I had to left my studies and begin to work, so I had to left the band.
With the band we worked many songs, they were quite simple but we made the effort to get them sounding cool. You can download some samples of the songs from this site. They have the quality you can expect from a little radio on the room beside our rehersal room, so, don't blame me for the sound, I put them there so you have an idea of
what am I talking about.
- The last thing we do with the band is a little intro for our show, It was mainly created by Claudio Diaz
(the other guitarrist) who play the lead guitar on this intro, the main melody was taken from an MSX game.
I think japanese music is awsome. I play the second guitar, first doing a powerful base and then arriving up with a
short and fast scale to make a second voice with the main melody just one third above.

- The first is my solo of a song called "Ven a mi". The base changes the tone 2 times (modulates), I use
some pentatonic cliche's, but the song was a cliche too :).Download.
- The second is from our favorite song, it's called "Muestrame" and it was recorded on a studio some time before this rehersal. When we recorded at studio I make only rythm guitar for the band, the solo was recorded for the lead guitar at that time, who is my friend Dragoslav. When he left the band I called Claudio and I made the solo for this song. I think we do a beatiful harmony between both guitars, notice I'm using tapping on the main part.
Dragoslav used picking instead, it sounded great too.Download.
- The last sample is a solo played by Claudio Diaz for a slow song. I think this solo is awesome, it has
a lot of feeling. I think he was very inspirated to make this thing.Download.
